Prescience Produce is the brainchild of Patrick Ranval, longtime resident of Western Kentucky, and the current plant manager for Magney Legacy Ridge Farm. As a mentee of Angela’s, Patrick aspires to having an organically certified farm of his own, specializing in unusual produce. Patrick graduated from Murray State University with a degree in Horticulture, and has held positions in many plant and produce distribution related jobs, including Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum, Midtown Market, and Walmart.

Patrick’s Oyster Mushrooms are grown cleanly on locally sourced wheat straw using environmentally responsible processes. Though the oyster mushrooms are cultivated in a controlled environment, Patrick also holds a Wild Mushroom Certification (#MC00526) for identification and edible mushroom foraging, earned through passing the course and exam created by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Patrick looks forward to cultivating unique produce offerings and listing them through the Magney Legacy Ridge Farm CSA site. We hope you enjoy them!
